Here is the previous episode’s ending:
They entered the falling building and engaged in a battle. Breaking through the doors of the building, they used blindfolds and infused cursed energy into their fists. The building, which had fallen to the ground, shattered into pieces, and the two emerged from the midst of the dust. “Let’s just say you’re the one who destroyed everything,” Gojo said, to which Sukuna responded, “And who are you to say that?” Both of them had expressions that didn’t suggest they were fighting to kill but rather enjoying themselves.
Synopsis
The scene takes place on the side of the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical High School, where Gojo Satoru and Sukuna are engaged in a battle.
Against Gojo, who possesses the Absolute Invulnerability through Limitless Cursed Technique, Sukuna takes measures to neutralize his technique by using Domain Expansion. Fushiguro, who has previously fought against Gojo, murmurs about Domain Expansion.

It seems like the high-speed cursed spirit used against Gojo-sensei in Shibuya, as seen in Mechamaru-kun’s footage, was a countermeasure against Limitless Cursed Technique. When Itadori asks, “Hakari, you can indeed neutralize Gojo-sensei’s Domain,” Hakari responds, “How does that work?” Kusakabe explains that it’s like further refining their own simplified Domain, enveloping the opponent’s technique into the vacant capacity by adorning the non-attributed Domain, thus neutralizing it. When Kusakabe is asked if he can perform Expansion, he replies, “Don’t underestimate me. Of course, I can’t.” It seems that Domain Expansion requires a considerable amount of skill (judging from the fact that Momo and Hanami were able to use it, it might be a technique that can only be performed by those who have mastered Domain Expansion).
Nishinoya, who was present there, says he can understand it on a sensory level. With an expression that seems to be the most understanding, perhaps because he has mastered Domain Expansion. One drawback of Domain Expansion is the inability to use simultaneously inherited techniques. It seems that Sukuna is no exception to that. The Angel says, “If Limitless Cursed Technique is overcome by means other than Expansion, Gojo Satoru will lose.” Panda anxiously remarks, “Wait, doesn’t that mean they’re basically fighting without using techniques?”
If that’s the case, why doesn’t Sukuna activate his Domain? After all, it makes the use of techniques difficult immediately after activating it, right? So, shouldn’t Sukuna challenge Gojo to a clash of Domains first? When Miwa asks, “Why not do that?” Hakari retorts, “It’s easy for you to say that, but the outcome will be determined by that, won’t it?” A little annoyed, Miwa responds, “But it’s fine to give it a try, isn’t it?” Kirara agrees, “Indeed, why not!” These two seem to lack understanding.
By the way, does the sure-hit effect of the Domain penetrate through Satoru-chan’s techniques? Kirara asks. In a calm manner, Todo answers, “When we were swallowed together by a cursed spirit’s Domain before (it penetrates Limitless Cursed Technique), he said so himself.”
If I were to guess, does Sukuna think he can’t defeat Gojo Satoru through a clash of Domains? Yoyou asks, “I can’t believe Gojo’s bad personality and Six Eyes wouldn’t see through that. If that were the case, Gojo should have activated his Domain.” Glass Eriki says in response to that, “If that were true, Gojo would definitely have activated his Domain. Hearing this, Fushiguro wonders if it wouldn’t turn into a clash of Domains. According to Kugisaki and Yuji’s conversation, I think Sukuna doesn’t close off his barriers when activating the Domain,” he says.
Hearing this, Kusakabe exclaims, “Huh?! That’s impossible!” Similarly, Koshiki Shun also says, “That’s impossible.” Heki Kinji adds, “That’s impossible.” Okkotsu also says, “That’s impossible… maybe.” They all deny the notion of an unclosed Domain. Miwa, who knows nothing about it, asks, “Is that really the case?”
Then Kusakabe asks Miwa, “Could you throw that water over there?” Miwa throws a “bottle filled with water” to Kusakabe. Confused, Miwa asks, “Huh? Didn’t you tell me to throw it?” I told you to get me water. I don’t need the bottle,” Kusakabe replies with an incomprehensible statement. Mei Mei adds, “Not closing off the barriers and expanding the Domain is exactly what that means.” Understanding this, Miwa opens the cap of the water bottle and directly pours water onto Kusakabe… silently angering Kusakabe.
Can you contain water without a container? Can you paint on air without using a canvas? Can a flower bloom without roots, stems, or leaves, just from a seed? Like playing soft without a hard… Anyway, it’s an impossible story! When Maki asks if Eno’s incomplete Domain didn’t close off the barriers, he responds, “I heard about that before the salary review. But that was a completely different level compared to what we’re discussing now. It utilized the buildings and existing results in the outer corners.” Kusakabe concludes,
But Kenjun Kamo… Choso pulled it off,” Tsukumo says and continues. At that time, Kujaku countered with his Simple Domain, and in the meantime, Tengen dismantled the Domain from the outside using Barrier Techniques.
The Simple Domain was gradually stripped away, but if Kujaku had activated his Domain… Choso raises a question.
It wouldn’t turn into a clash of Domains, I suppose. It would ultimately become a clash of the outer corners of the barriers. But in the end, it probably ended up being a clash over the guaranteed hit effect of the techniques granted within Yuki-san’s (Kujaku) Domain, Mei Mei answers. “Clash”? What do you mean? I don’t know, right? Isn’t it about the guaranteed hit effect? So that guaranteed hit effect is granted within that Domain. It’s inevitable to clash the barriers. And the answer doesn’t seem to be clear in the end.
We’re talking about Domains as if it’s obvious, but isn’t it insanely draining in terms of cursed energy? That’s why you can’t just use it easily, right? “Okaka,” as Kugisaki-kun said, Gojo-sensei doesn’t have a shortage of cursed energy. Well, that’s because his cursed energy efficiency is ridiculously high, so the consumption remains within the realm of constant self-complementation. But isn’t that based on the assumption of common sense usage? I think things would change if he had to continuously activate and deactivate the Domain. That’s what Ino Takuma says.
What about Sukuna? When asked further, Kashimo replies, “Kakashiinu is extraordinary. The speed until technique activation, the switch between extension and innate techniques, if Gojo Satoru didn’t have Six Eyes, Sukuna would definitely have won in terms of cursed energy efficiency.”
And Toge responds, “And the total amount of cursed energy is greater than mine. I have an intuitive sense that it’s more than twice as much.” (Toge has a higher cursed energy consumption than Gojo Satoru). So, it means that neither of them refrains from activating their Domains due to the amount of cursed energy… Perhaps, but maybe nobody, including the parties involved, knows what would happen if Gojo Satoru’s Domain clashed with Mahito’s Domain. It’s an unknown story for everyone. No conclusion was reached, it seems.
Hey… They’re coming.

The scene shifts to Gojo Satoru and Mahito. Both of them simultaneously activate their Domains. Gojo’s Domain envelops the entire space, with “Fukuma Mizushi” standing within.
Stalemate. Within Gojo’s Unlimited Void, the mutually paired Instant Cursed Technique commands cancel each other out. It’s a battle while both have their Domains activated. If either of them sustains significant damage or if one of their Domains collapses, the Instant Cursed Technique of the other will immediately strike them.
Stalemate. It’s an even match within the “barrier.”

Outside of Gojo’s Domain, Mahito’s technique effect with Fukuma Mizushi gradually chips away at various things. The range of Mahito’s Domain extends beyond the outer corners of Gojo’s Domain. The barrier of the Domain is fragile against attacks from the outside. Crashing sounds. Gojo’s Domain is destroyed, while Mahito’s Domain remains.

Mahito looks down and smiles at Gojo from atop Fukuma Mizushi. Gojo is surprised, and in the next moment, a devastating blow strikes Gojo’s neck.

Impressions:
All the members of the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical High School were watching from the sidelines. I had thought that at least Inumaki, Maki, Zenin, and Kashimo would be waiting nearby, ready to take advantage of any openings. Perhaps Yuta is there because he can instantly teleport near with his techniques?
Whether they are nearby or not, there seems to be a reason why they can’t get too close, maybe because it’s dangerous if they get caught up in it or Gojo can’t concentrate. However, this was a chapter where they were completely spectators on the sidelines. But thanks to that, as readers, we can focus on the Gojo vs. Mahito battle, and that’s great.
I don’t think this is the end for Gojo Satoru, of course. However, Fukuma Mizushi constantly bombarding him with Hachikai and “Kai” makes it quite challenging. Moreover, Gojo is in a state where he can’t use the Unlimited Cursed Techniques because he activated his Domain. Normally, Domain Expansion is an Instant Guaranteed Kill, so for an ordinary sorcerer, this would be the end.
But considering it’s Gojo Satoru we’re talking about, let’s hope he manages to find a way.
